Leadership
Peter G. Goldschmidt, MD, DrPH, DMS, is the president of World Development Group and leads its consulting practice. He has more than 30 years of industry experience. His expertise encompasses health care quality management, information systems, and decision support tools. He founded various health care businesses and was formerly the Director of the Health Services Research & Development Service, US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Dr. Goldschmidt’s accomplishments include designing the world’s first automated system for routinely assessing the quality of medical care. He is a member of various expert committees concerned with the development and harmonization of health data standards.
