Verification

World Development Group (WDG) verifies information in profiles according to the following steps. The completion of each step improves the accuracy of information. To indicate the latest step that has been completed in the verification process, we use the following text in the "Verification" entry of each profile:

"Incomplete" (created by WDG from the publisher's or accrediting organization's website, etc, but information is substantially incomplete; it may also be incorrect).
"Updated by WDG" (using information on the publisher's or accrediting organization's website; some profile categories may be incomplete because of insufficient information; some may be incorrect).
"Updated by publisher/organization" (the publisher or accrediting organization has provided an updated profile to WDG).
"Confirmed by publisher/organization" (the publisher or accrediting organization has reviewed and returned the WDG-edited updated profile, and, if applicable, WDG has made any necessary corrections).

Periodically, we ask publishers and accrediting organizations to update their profiles.
